2010 SMSA Registration Information and Instructions
The Similkameen Minor Sports Association’s continuing goal is to give young children in our community an opportunity to play soccer and baseball. If you are interested in registering a child in youth soccer, minor ball, or both, please review the following information and submit the registration form(s) with appropriate payment before FEBRUARY 19, 2010.
To accomplish our goal we will need parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts, guardians, and friends to be actively involved, especially as volunteer coaches. If you are willing and able to coach but hesitate to volunteer because you have not coached a particular sport please do not let that stop you. Before the season begins we would like to provide an opportunity for volunteer coaches to be exposed to a mini-clinic. This will help give you support for practice guidelines and game expectations. The success of youth sports depends on volunteers!

2010 Keremeos Youth Soccer League
In 2010, the KYSL soccer season will be held on Monday evenings. The season will begin on Monday, April 5th and will run every Monday (except for Victoria Day weekend) until June 14th. All practice and game sessions will take place at the SESS playing fields. The league is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 10 (born 2000 to 2005). Playing times for the different age groups and schedules will be finalized before the season begins.
Similkameen Minor Ball 2010
The SMB program will also be for boys and girls ages 5 to 10 (born 2000 to 2005). It will start during the week of April 15th and end on June 17th. All sessions will take place in Cawston, at Kobau Park. Thursday evening will likely be used for playing times. A schedule will be developed following registration.
Registration
The deadline for registration is February 19th. Please note that there is a $25.00 fee increase for those registering after February 19th and that family discounts do not apply beyond that date.
